Anna Myers is one of Oklahoma’s most beloved writers of  literature for young people. 


She has written nineteen published novels and a recent picture book.


Anna has received four Oklahoma Book Award medals during her writing career for Red Dirt Jessie, Graveyard Girl, Assassin, and Spy


In addition to receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Oklahoma Center for the Book in 2012 and being inducted into the Oklahoma Writers Hall of Fame in 2013, she has received many more awards and honors from across the country.  


Retired now from twenty-two years as a junior high English teacher, Anna still loves sharing her passion for words and for learning with students and writers of all ages.
